This group is for everyone who was born in any of the former USSR Republics or who is Russian in soul or has Russian connections and would like to extend them and loves Russia. You don't have to be in Boston, but have to be over 21 to join this group. Most of our members are in their mid 20s to mid 40s range and speak fluent Russian. We love our Russian partners, but cross-cultural relationships pose some challenge. In addition to the language barrier, we sometimes approach situations from completely different vantages. This group is designed to help us meet others in similar relationships, to learn from each others' experiences, and to help us expand our social network to include other Russian-American couples.

The Boston Balalaika Society Orchestra is seeking people who would like to learn how to play music on Russian folk instruments: balalaika, domra and bayan.
